Testimonials

:: Steve Dunn - Director Safety & Services - Covelli Centre

"We just completed fork lift training here at the Covelli Centre. Craig Workman did the training and he was assisted by Jeff Karlen. Training was phenomenal. Craig kept the guys attention the entire time, and both of the guys did a really super job on the practical operation part.

As safety officer I planned on just watching part of it, but it was so good I stayed for all and even earned my card."

:: Dave L. - Columbia Station, Ohio

"I wanted to take a moment to write you a note regarding my recent rentals with Leppo’s in “North Ridgeville”. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience(s) I've had over the past couple of months while building my barn in Columbia Station. Mark, specifically, has always gone out of his way to take the time to answer my (sometimes exhausting, I'm sure) various questions but I would have to say that what really makes your company unique is that the quality service didn't stop after the "sale" was made. Whether it was someone in the front office, the guys in back who help load, or the delivery drivers, there was always an aura of courtesy and a desire to make sure that I was satisfied. I've only rented a few times, but each time I came in it felt like I was being treated as your biggest spending customer. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that, all I can do is show you by continuing to come to Leppo’s whenever I have an equipment need. Thanks very much for the great service and I hope everyone there has a great 2015 !! "

:: Thomas D. Cavanaugh - Cavanaugh Building Corporation

"We asked for and received pricing on used T300’s from Bob Lucas. I agreed on a price with Bob and was told when off rental we could have one with 700 hours. Bob contacted me that the machine was in getting cleaned and available (and asked) where did I want it delivered to. Prior to delivery Bob called our mechanic informing him delivery would be a day late as tracks for a machine with 700 hours in Bob’s opinion would not be acceptable to Cavanaugh Building. Bob said Leppo will put on new tracks. Machine was delivered with new tracks as promised. It is this importance in customer satisfaction and honesty that makes it painless to doing business with Leppo. Thanks to Bob Lucas for his heads up and concern. "

"...I still remember pondering the cost of that helmet [that I purchased from your Tallmadge store] in 1980, and then thought about how much I would enjoy to continue living after using my new Stihl 039 that my father-in-law purchased for me to clear the lot for our soon-to-be built home on Barnes Drive. I am so glad I decided to spring for it, as I am sure I would not be here to tell you of this story if I hadn't and wore it on every occasion that I used the saw. It only takes one time, and this one happened 28 years after purchasing it. It all happened so quickly.----- I never saw the 18 inch bar leave the log, I only saw the helmet go flying across the woods, and wondered why in the world it took off like that? A quick glance at the holes in the helmet and torn face screen, and I began to realize what had almost happened.

:: Fred Welsh - East Rochester, Ohio

"Leppo Equipment in Canton, Ohio has once again stepped ahead of the competition not only with quality equipment but, with a sales team that has a commitment to customer needs and satisfaction. I looked at many advertised “good used skid loaders”, but they all ended up being nothing more than worn out junk. With the help of Jerome Pruett, from the Leppo’s sales team, my three year search ended with an excellent 2001 Bobcat 773 turbo. The machine performs above my expectations. I highly recommend anyone needing off road equipment or parts to call Leppo’s."

:: Carol Hackett, Hackett's Rentals, Inc.

"The team at Leppo Equipment - Youngstown, was great at keeping us going in this break down. We were ready to leave the excavator and they found us a used pin tach that we used while waiting. In our line of business, it kept us at 1 day of down time. My husband has been in business 30 years this year, and we appreciate the work that Leppos and Melroe do to keep us going in our business."

:: Joe Emigh - Utica, PA - 3rd Place Winner, Bobcat Unleashed Contest

"In September 1998, I was involved in a tragic construction accident that resulted in the loss of my right arm and caused muscular, nerve, and skeletal damage to the rest of my upper body. Up to that point, my entire adult life had revolved around trucks, machines, and equipment. I loved it. Then at age 29, it was all gone. In the years since, I have tried to adapt several different machines and tools to my disability with varying levels of success.

Last year, a contractor, Wallace Builders of Pulaski, Pa., was working at my home with an older Bobcat® skid-steer loader with pedals for the boom and attachment, and simple linear sticks for directional control. I said to Davey, the operator, ‘If they only still made them like that, I could make linkage to run it.’ He told me that Bobcat still does. The rest, as they say, is history. I immediately went to the Bobcat Web site, researched loaders, found a dealer, and a month later — with the help of Bobcat’s zero-percent financing — I was the proud owner of a new T300.

The dealer, Bobcat of Youngstown in Youngstown, Ohio, moved the throttle to the left side of the machine and moved the electronic attachment controls to the left stick, since I lost my right arm above the elbow. I spent a couple of weeks building and refining new linkage for my stump to control the right stick with parts anyone can get at a hardware store for $25. Talk about being unleashed. After ten years of playing with ‘toys’ by comparison, my Bobcat T300 has given me a real life. I can do real work.

With a Brushcat™ rotary cutter, a Bobcat soil conditioner, a combo bucket, my Bobcat machine has allowed me to take control of my situation instead of being controlled by it. With all the attachments Bobcat makes, I really sometimes think there is nothing I can't do. I'm only limited by my creativity. The best part? My T300 is so versatile and in demand, I sometimes rent it to the same contractor who turned me on to it, so it is helping to pay for itself. None of those other ‘high-maintenance toys’ ever did that! Thanks, Bobcat, for unleashing me. With their many available control options, I know Bobcat machines can unleash other disabled guys and gals and help them feel productive and in charge of their lives too."

:: Happy Customer

"I just writing to commend the Wooster service dept. Mike Perry and Dave Perry were wonderful in fixing my machine. The machine has had this problem in the past and they were able to convince bobcat (IR) that it should be a warranty issue and bobcat took care of it. I will definitely make a Leppo Bobcat my next machine."

:: Dave

"It is rare and refreshing to find companies that actually WANT to work with their customers, and want repeat business. A saying I learned more than 35 years ago is: ‘All business’s rise, thrive, and survive on repeat orders and referrals’."

:: Ken Rupp - Medina Paper Recycling

"Leppo is the best."
